To our dear friends, family, and wonderful community: it’s with heavy hearts that we share the news that we’ll be closing Littleneck in Gowanus. On behalf of the entire LN team we would like to say thank you for all your love and continued support over these last 4 years.  

We’ll stay open with regular hours through the first couple weeks of March (last day still tbd), and hope you all come out for some final meals and gatherings in our beloved little space.

This has been a hard, and also profoundly rewarding journey. Taking over Littleneck after working here as employees, even on the brink of the covid pandemic, was a dream come true in so many ways. This place has been magical to us, and many others, and we are completely gutted to be closing our doors here on 3rd Ave. 

Unfortunately the reality we, like so many others, are facing is a restaurant landscape that’s at its most challenging, and coupled with the unbelievable density of new construction surrounding us since the rezoning of Gowanus, it’s become impossible to continue operating in our favorite NYC neighborhood.

While this is certainly sad news, it is not the end. It’s also an exciting time for us to think about what our next chapter will be. We’re going to take this opportunity to explore new possibilities and ways to bring people the food and spirit of LN. We’ll keep our website and instagram page up and running for future catering events and new endeavors, so please stay in touch. Also in the meantime, check out our other spot @alehouseparkslope.
